In 2015, we donated $2,500 to Hunkapi Programs, which offers therapeutic riding and equine-assisted psychotherapy for both children and adults. Led by a staff of PATH-certified instructors, therapists, and experienced volunteers, the Scottsdale, Arizona-based organization offers integrative, unique, and holistic programs to its clients.
Kids Cooking for Life is designed to inspire lifelong healthy cooking and eating habits in children by empowering them to build healthy lives through hands-on cooking classes. Trained instructors teach nutrition, culinary arts, food preparation and sanitation, and agriculture and elementary education to children throughout the Bay Area.
The ResorTime community voted for Pacific Cancer Fitness to receive a $2,500 beCause Destination Matters donation last year. Pacific Cancer Fitness is a non-profit which provides cancer patients and survivors with personalized fitness and nutrition programs, which reduces their risk of recurrence while accommodating unique physical limitations.
