Joshua Tree Music Festival:  October 5 – 8

This all-ages family-friendly music festival includes everything from a hip, eclectic mix of electro-funk’n groove sounds to soulful melodies from around the world. Bring the whole family to enjoy music, art, group yoga sessions and a large list of fun activities in “Kidsville”!

Hwy 62 Open Studio Art Tours: October 22-23 & 29-30

This annual event is sponsored by the Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council (MBCAC) and features two weekends of self-guided tours to the art studios, galleries and exhibitions of 140 desert artists! It covers over 50 miles and is treated more like an art treasure hunt. Catalogs and maps for the event are available at area galleries, Chamber of Commerce, Twentynine Palms Visitor Center, California Welcome Center in Yucca Valley, and MBCAC. When you depart on your art adventure be sure to bring plenty of water and be prepared to drive on desert dirt roads to some of the studios and exhibitions. This is truly a fun, unique way to get a lesson in desert art and culture.

Joshua Tree Farmers Market: Every Saturday, 8:00am – 1:00pm in Downtown Joshua Tree

Support the local farmers and sustainable farming practices of the community of Joshua Tree by attending the weekly farmers market. You’ll experience everything from farm to market produce, and local arts and crafts.

Weekly Arts & Crafts Festival:  Every Sunday, 9:00am – 2:00pm in Downtown Joshua Tree

Reopening Labor Day weekend on September 3, 2017 get the opportunity to shop over thirty local artist and crafters exhibiting everything from jewelry and apparel to paintings and sculptures
