Take a look at how these ResorTime affiliated resorts are making a positive impact in their community and the world.
Located in the heart of Coronado’s picturesque downtown, the housekeeping team at Coronado Beach Resort collects partially used soaps, bottles of shampoo and conditioner, so they may be recycled and donated to countries in need. These recycled and reused products that would normally be discarded help combat hygiene-related diseases.
Aside from the magical island scenery, spacious accommodations, and attentive service, Hanalei Bay Resort associates and owners participate in the Visitors Industry Charity Walk every year. In 2016, Hanalei Bay Resort raised more than $16,000. The walk is organized by the Hawaii Lodging and Tourism Association, and proceeds are donated to more than 57 local charities, including the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii and the Special Olympics Hawaii.
Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge is a charming spot on Lake Tahoe’s North Shore. General Manager, Erin O’Brien served on the board for Dog Day in the Park, and the resort itself donated three complimentary weeks to the organization for their silent auctions. The fenced, environmentally friendly, off-leash dog park contributes to pet-wellness, education, rescue, and adoption.
