Don’t’ Throw it Out. Clean the World!

We partner with thousands of resorts who consider environmental sustainability one of their most important endeavors and are committed to keeping the places you love to vacation as beautiful as ever!

Did you know most resorts now recycle your used soap? It’s true!

Resorts are partnering with Clean the World to recycle partially used amenities and distribute them to impoverished families around the world, along with keeping waste out of landfills.

How are they able to do this? – Don’t throw out your used amenities!

Resorts encourage guests to leave their partially used amenities, like shampoos and soaps, in the bathroom and not to throw them away. This helps housekeeping teams who diligently sort through recyclables and get the used products to Clean the World. As guests, leaving your used bars of soap and bottled amenities in the rooms and out of the trash assists us with their environmental sustainability mission.

Clean the World helps turn what guests consider trash into treasure.

Discarded soap bars and plastic bottles are given a second life as they’re turned into hygiene kits that are given to impoverished communities across the world, helping prevent millions of hygiene-related illnesses.

Since 2009, Clean the World has distributed more than 41 million bars of soap to children and families in 118 countries worldwide, while fulfilling an environmental mission by diverting 15.4 million pounds of hotel waste from polluting landfills in North America.
