Soak it all in from your home away from home surrounded by Diamond Head, the Pacific Ocean and Honolulu. Play an early round of golf at a nearby course, people watch on Waikiki Beach or dance until dawn at the local clubs. No matter how you look at it, Fairway Villa is the perfect destination for any vacationer.

Important Notice: The Association of Apartment Owners (A.O.A.O.) Fairway Villa has commissioned the renovation of the hallways in this 28-story building. This entails replacement of the carpeting, repainting of walls and unit entry doors, and installation of new lighting fixtures. In addition, additional fire alarm horns will be installed. We anticipate a much lighter and brighter hallway ambiance resulting from this project.

The hallways will be done floor by floor between now and the end of December 2009. If the door of the unit you occupy is scheduled for painting during your visit, it will need to be left open during the day for the priming, painting and drying phases. Additional security will be provided in the affected hall while doors are open. Signs will be posted, providing information of when a task is scheduled, and whom to contact if you have questions. The regular scheduled time of the work is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of U.S. holidays; this schedule is subject to change without notice.

We are unable to predict the inconvenience you may experience, but for those on floors undergoing this work, we do anticipate residual noise and dust, workmen in the area, and the odor of paint.

Directions to the Waikiki Fairway Villa

Check-in is required at the Royal Kuhio before going to Fairway Villa. Directions to Fairway Villa will be provided by Royal Kuhio at that time. Royal Kuhio is located in downtown Waikiki. From the Honolulu International and Inter-Island Airport, turn right onto Nimitz Hwy. Travel for approximate 8 miles. Take Nimitz Hwy to Kalakaua for one block. Kuhio Avenue veers left off Kalakaua. Royal Kuhio's main entrance is on Kuhio Avenue. If arriving by taxi, unloading is only permitted at the main entrance to Royal Kuhio. The parking entrance is on Seaside Avenue.

Late Check In Procedure

Guests MUST check-in at the Royal Kuhio Check-in Office. Office hours are 8a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, closed for lunch 12:00 Noon - 1:00 p.m. If arriving after hours go directly to the Royal Kuhio Security Office at the above address. The Royal Kuhio security officer will provide keys and check-in instructions. Please be sure to register at the Royal Kuhio Check-in Office the next day.A refundable deposit of $40 per security key, in cash or credit card imprint, is required at check-in.
