Ciclo-Pista Parque

| Ciclo-Pista Parque Ecologico Aztlan Park and Biking Paths is an important circuit which is almost 8 km long and is regarded as one of the important tourist attractions in and around Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo. As it is situated near the Ixtapa Marina the view from this place is spectacular. People who desire solitude and peaceful atmosphere away from the din and clutter of the city will fall in love with Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo.

| Casa Marina is a family-owned shopping complex on the Paseo del Pescador in Zihuatanejo Centro that is a souvenir hunter's delight. There are half a dozen stores that each feature a different genre of Mexican handicrafts including toys, precious stone jewelry, traditional Mexican clothing, textiles, rugs and mirrors.

| The main beach for swimming and water sports is Playa La Ropa.This perfect beach is about a mile long with, usually mild waves making it perfect for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. It's usually possible to body surf the 1 to 3 foot waves there on a normal day.

Playas Las Gatas
|
| Isolated Playa Las Gatas is named for the whiskered nurse sharks who once inhabited the waters. It's a protected beach, crowded with sunbeds and restaurants. It's good for snorkeling (there's some coral) and as a swimming spot for children, but beware of sea urchins. Beach shacks and restaurants rent out snorkeling gear. Boats to Playa Las Gatas depart frequently from the Zihuatanejo pier.
