The Village Pub
Most pubs rely on the drinks to pay the bills, and food comes as an afterthought. Not so here, where the menu is extensive, international and delicious. There is a selection of three dozen different salads, each with its own special dressing. Salads range from a simple side salad to the Acapulco Breeze: vegetables and cilantro in a jalapeno salsa. Burgers come in several varieties. Specialties include curries, Pork Medallions with real Roquefort cheese and Lamb Casserole Dijonnaise. There is live music and dancing seven nights a week
Las Casuelas Terraza Restaurant
Las Casuelas Restaurants have a long and proud heritage. In the city of Mazatlan, Mexico, founder Florencio Delgado's grandmother prepared wonderful dishes and perfected recipes to hand down to her children. Using these same recipes, Florencio's mother prepared and served meals to townspeople from her very own kitchen in Arizona. Later, this small "restaurant" became known as the Spanish Kitchen, and became the forbearer to the Las Casuelas Restaurants.
Agua Caliente Cultural Museum
This small museum is dedicated to the preservation of the Agua Caliente band of the Cahuilla Indians, who initially discovered the Palm Springs area. Displays include basketry masterworks by past and present artisans, early photographs and a full-size re-creation of a traditional Cahuilla kish. The museum is also the official repatriation center for disturbed remains of Agua Caliente tribal people and receives relics recovered in the area. Admission is free.
The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies
The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies is a world-famous, Broadway-caliber celebration of the music, dance, and comedy of the 30's, 40's, and 50's. It is located at the historic Plaza theatre in the heart of the Village of Palm Springs. This Spanish-style film house has hosted radio broadcasts by greats such as Jack Benny and Bob Hope, as well as live performances by Frank Sinatra, Gordon MacRae, Donald O'Connor and other Palm Springs celebrities.
The Blue Guitar
Watch for the illuminated blue neon guitar to guide you to this second-story club near the Plaza Theater. Once inside, enjoy the best blues music in Coachella Valley. The stage offers a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system just off a hardwood dance floor. The street-side balcony also holds a few tables, ideal for looking down on the crowds passing below. There is a USD10 cover charge on Fridays and Saturdays for the 9pm show. There is a free blues concert on Sundays. The music is the draw, but they also serve a mean gumbo and cheesecake.
Palm Springs Art Museum
Founded in 1938, the Palm Springs Desert Museum is an educational institution that promotes a greater understanding of art and performing arts through collections, exhibitions and programs. The Museum's permanent art collection features 19th, 20th, and 21st century works focusing on contemporary California art, classic western American art, Native American art; pre-Columbian art, Mexican art, and European modern art; glass studio art, American mid-twentieth century architecture, and American photography.
Palm Springs Air Museum
Deserts provide great conditions for preserving planes, and this huge collection of historic planes is a Palm Springs landmark. Enjoy getting an up-close view of aerial history in huge, air-conditioned hangers, then watch a movie in the Buddy Rogers Theater. There is a gift shop filled with airplane-themed souvenirs. Special events include air shows featuring the largely WWII-era aircraft, children's activities and lectures, often presented by the men and women who flew the planes originally.
Tahquitz Creek Golf Course
Tahquitz Creek consists of two spectacular 18-hole golf courses, both offer gorgeous views of Palm Springs. Golf Digest recently rated Tahquitz Creek as "one of the best places to play."
Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
Enjoy stunning views of the entire desert from the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. This is the world’s largest rotating tramcar and it climbs to 8,516 feet up the face of Chino Canyon. From the top, visitors can go camping, take guided tours, or during the winter, enjoy some cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
Indian Canyons
Palm Springs and the surrounding area has been described as a recreation oasis as early as the 1890's. Three canyons: Plam, Andreas, and Murray are listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The Agua Caliente Casino, a development of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, is a full-amenity casino located in the Coachella Valley at 32-250 Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage. Looking for a touch of New Orleans-style Mardi Gras any time of year? Drop by this fun bar attached to Captain Cook's Seafood restaurant. Here you will find entertainment with no cover charge, spicy, tasty appetizers (and full dinners, if you prefer) and a funky Southern ambience that includes a turtle island, waterfall and a koi pond. Cabot's Old Indian Pueblo Museum
Massive, unusual, impressive and somewhat disturbing all at the same time, this museum is the result of one man's passionate interest in the Hopi Indians. Driven to recreate a Hopi Pueblo, Cabot Yerxa worked on this structure for 24 years until his death in 1965. The 35-room adobe and wood structure contains some of Yerxa's extensive collections from his world travels. See their website for further information. McCallum Theatre
This is a busy, state-of-the-art venue for year-round entertainment and cultural events, and it draws both tourists and locals from throughout the Coachella Valley. Popular stars who have appeared here include singer Tom Jones, comedienne Rita Rudner, Harry Belafonte and the Cirque Eloize. The theatre also offers diverse educational programs for all ages. The theater is dark during the month of August, with most events scheduled between October and May.

Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain
Open all year, the Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain, Southern California's only authentic bobsled experience, begins with a scenic chairlift ride to the top that includes panoramic views of beautiful Big Bear Lake and the surrounding mountains. A very tight, tree-lined layout. Streams and marshes come into play on 14 holes. The facilities include a lighted driving range and plenty of short-game practice areas. Collared shirts required and soft pikes are suggested but not yet mandatory. Groups may go out in fivesomes, so pace of play can be slow at times.

Oceanside Pier
Perhaps Oceanside's most memorable landmark, the pier was first built in the late 1890's by Melchoir Pieper using lumber that had been salvaged from the wharf at Wisconsin Street after it had been destroyed in a storm. Since then the pier has been through five iterations, most recently having been rebuilt in 1987. Today the Oceanside pier is a popular attraction for both locals and visitors, offering fishing, a great view of the Pacific ocean, and a little Oceanside history.

The Flower Fields of Carlsbad California
Come and join us at the seasonal bloom of 50+ acres of giant Tecolote Ranunculus at The Flower Field of Carlsbad. While there, spend the day visiting features of displays of miniature rose garden, sweet pea maze, or the historic poinsettia display. The Flower Fields® are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The fields are full of new growth and the ranunculus are beginning to bloom in the north block.
