| Sweetwater at Lake Conroe is located on the lake and has several nearby marinas to choose from. The lake offers fishing, sailing, waterskiing, and much more. There are 27 holes of golf on site and about a dozen more courses in the area. If you feel like swimming, enjoy one of four outdoor pools. Afterward take a relaxing dip in the Jacuzzi. Tennis buffs can choose from 18 courts. Sightseers will enjoy visiting Sam Houston State Park, the Crighton Theatre, and NASA (a two-hour drive away)--plus many museums, festivals, and rodeos. |

Resort |
The nearest commercial airport to the resort is in Houston, 45 miles away. From Houston, take I-45 north and exit on Highway 105 west (left). Go about 8 miles to April Sound Country Club. Identify yourself to the guard at the guard station and ask for directions to the O.R.E./ Sweetwater office (unit #4) where you will pick up your keys. Check-in is between 4PM and 8PM. For late arrival, call (936) 588-1467.
