Getting to Panorama Vacation Retreat at Horsethief Lodge and the Panorama Mountain Village: The resort is 3.5 hours from the Calgary International Airport, along British Columbia's Powder Highway, by way of Banff and the Kootenay National Parks. The Panorama Mountain Village has organized two daily direct shuttles to and from the Calgary airport or you can rent a car and enjoy the scenic Canadian Rockies at your own pace. The roads are well maintained throughout the year and plowed regularly so there is no need to worry about getting to your final destination. Driving Directions to Panorama Vacation Retreat at Horsethief Lodge:

  1. From the Calgary International Airport take the Trans Canada Highway 1 west and pass through both Canmore and Banff.
  2. Approximately 19 miles (30km) west of Banff take the AB-93 South ramp towards Radium Hot Springs.
  3. When you arrive in Radium after just over an hour, head South on Highway 93/95 towards Invermere.
  4. Upon arrival in Invermere, turn right onto Athalmer Rd (signs for Invermere/Panorama) when you see the Tim Hortons on your left hand side.
  5. After you pass the lake and cross the rail bridge take a right onto Panorama Drive. You are only 20 minutes away and although it may seem a bit like you are in the middle of nowhere you are on the right track and almost to your final destination.
  1. Panorama Mountain Village - Panorama Vacation Retreat at Horsethief Lodge to Invermere, BC ( about 20 miles away: 30 min in summer, winter depends on weather)
    1. Head northwest on Summit Drive toward Panorama Place - 130m
    2. Take the first right onto Panorama Place - 290m

Visitors to Panorama Mountain Village will find Invermere worth a visit. During the warm weather months, golfing on nine and eighteen hole championship courses, or hang-gliding from Mount Swansea.
