PANORAMA MOUNTAIN VILLAGE

Panorama Mountain Village Located on the western edge of the Canadian Rockies, about 2 hours west of Banff, through the picturesque Kootenay National Park is Panorama Mountain Village. The mountain rises a full 4,000 vertical feet above the village, but it's not until you slide off the Summit Quad that the true scale of the terrain becomes apparent. About 20 miles away on the northwest shores of Windermere Lake near the Alberta border, Invermere has a host of activities and things to do that will add to your getaway. During the warm weather months, golfing on nine and eighteen hole championship courses, or hang-gliding from Mount Swansea. The local Farmers Market is a convenient stop for fresh fruit and vegetables.
