The Carlsbad 5000 course is flat, fast and fun! This scenic course features two miles along the cool Pacific with an exciting finish in the heart of Carlsbad. 5000 Meter (3.1 miles) Road Race.

Prize Purse: More than $70,000 – The richest non-marathon purse in the history of California road racing.
Records: 14 world records set, including current men’s and women’s marks. Men’s and women’s wheelchair world bests; American men’s and women’s records. Largest Masters-only (40 & over) race in California.
Expo: A two-day Health & Fitness Expo held on site during the event. Retail sales and sampling opportunities are permitted.
